브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 웨이브가 ‘2022 베이징 동계올림픽’ 생중계와 스포츠 소재 콘텐츠를 한 번에 즐길 수 있는 특별관을 운영한다.
온라인 동영상서비스 웨이브는 오는 2월 4일부터 20일까지 열리는 ‘2022 베이징 동계올림픽’ 특별관을 개설하고 생중계 서비스를 제공한다고 21일 밝혔다.
‘2022 베이징 동계올림픽’ 특별관은 개막식에 하루 앞선 오는 2월 3일 오픈한다. 지상파방송(KBS1, KBS2, MBC, SBS)의 올림픽 생중계와 주요경기 다시보기(VOD), 경기 하이라이트 영상을 관람할 수 있다.
특히 웨이브는 방대한 콘텐츠 라이브러리를 바탕으로 올림픽과 스포츠 관련 작품을 한번에 모아볼 수 있는 다양한 코너를 신설해 차별화할 예정이다.
코너별로 올림픽 출전 선수가 출연한 방송 프로그램은 물론 스포츠 영화 및 드라마, 예능을 함께 제공함으로써 이용자들이 올림픽의 감동과 여운을 더욱 풍성하게 즐길 수 있도록 할 예정이다.
박민우 국내편성사업부 책임매니저는 “지난해 도쿄 올림픽 특별관을 구성해 이용자들의 호응을 받은 만큼, 동계올림픽 특별관도 생중계와 함께 올림픽 스타들이 출연한 프로그램들을 풍성하게 채워가도록 준비 중”이라고 밝혔다.
한편, ‘2022 베이징 동계올림픽’은 오는 2월 4일부터 20일까지 17일간 중국 베이징, 옌칭, 장자커우 지역에서 개최되며 대한민국 선수단은 6종목 약 130여 명이 참가하게 된다.
