브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 국민권익위원회가 15일 일명 김영란법이라 불리는 '청탁금지법' 시행령 개정 추진 안건을 의결했다.
전현희 권익위원장은 이날 오전 전원위원회를 소집, 총 13명의 위원들이 참석해 청탁금지법 시행령 개정 추진 안건을 심의·의결했다.
전 위원장은 회의 뒤 브리핑에서 "이번 개정은 코로나19 장기화로 극심한 경제적 어려움을 겪고 있는 농림축수산 업계를 돕기 위한 불가피한 결정이었음을 양해 부탁드린다"면서 "앞으로도 청렴사회를 향한 의지를 확고히 유지하고, 청탁금지법 취지를 지키기 위한 교육·홍보를 적극 추진해 나가겠다"고 말했다.
이에 따라 오는 19일 예정된 국무회의에 청탁금지법 시행령 개정안이 공식 안건으로 회부된다.
개정안이 국무회의까지 통과하면 설 명절까지 한시적으로 농축수산식품 및 가공품 선물 허용 한도액이 기존 10만원에서 20만원으로 상향된다.
