DGB금융그룹 , 주한 캄보디아 대사관과 사업협력 방안 논의

【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=DGB금융그룹은 DGB대구은행 제2본점에서 김태오 회장과 롱 디망쉐 주한 캄보디아 대사가 만나 사업 협력에 관한 방안을 논의했다고 24일 밝혔다.

20일 오후에 진행된 이번 만남은 대구경북에 지역 기반을 두고 종합금융그룹으로 성장한 DGB금융그룹의 역사와 현황, 선진 경영기법 등을 알리고 다양한 금융사업을 논의하기 위해 이루어졌다.

DGB금융그룹은 지난 2018년 1월 대구은행의 자회사로 캄보디아 DGB특수은행을 인수하고 2020년 9월 30일 상업은행 라이선스를 획득했으며, DGB캐피탈의 자회사로 캠캐피탈을 인수하여 현지에서 1, 2금융을 아우르는 사업을 펼치고 있다.

특히 DGB캐피탈은 올 초 국내에 거주하는 외국인 노동자를 위한 외국인 근로자 신용대출을 출시하였는데 이는 작년 김태오 회장과 롱 디망쉐 대사와의 간담회를 통해 검토가 시작된 상품이다. 외국인신용대출은 출시 후 9개월 만에 누적 대출금액 기준으로 290억원을 돌파할 정도로 외국인 근로자에게 인기가 높은 상품이다.

DGB금융그룹은 글로벌 현지화 사업을 강화하기 위하여 김태오 회장과 롱 디망쉐 대사가 추가적으로 다양한 사업 협력 방안을 논의하였고, 캄보디아와의 국?내외 금융 협력 분야를 점진적으로 넓혀 나갈 계획이다는 방침이다.

김태오 회장은 "높은 수익성과 지속적인 성장이 기대되는 캄보디아 금융시장의 미래를 높이 평가하고 있다.”면서 “앞으로도 캄보디아 대사관과 긴밀한 협력으로 현지화를 통한 선진금융 교류 활성화를 희망하고 추가적인 사업을 확장하는 등 글로벌 금융그룹으로의 위상을 공고히 하겠다"고 밝혔다.
