중국의 저가 전기차 공세에도 소형 전기트럭 등 고객의 니즈에 선제적으로 대응해 나가며 다양한 형태의 전기차량을 개발하고 있는 ㈜대창모터스는 2010년 충주에서 사옥을 이전해 진천에서 초소형전기차와 트럭 완성차를 생산하고 있다.
