전기차 사용자 문화를 위한 세종·충청 지역간담회가 18일 열렸다.
세종시의회 유인호 의원은 이날 국책연구단지에서 열린 한국전기차사용자협회 간담회에 참석해 정책 만족도를 높이기 위한 인프라 구축을 강조했다.
이날 간담회에는 세종시의회 운영위원장을 맡고 있는 유인호 의원을 비롯해 황수연 세종시 환경정책과 주무관, 남양우 대한주택관리사협회 세종시 회장, 박상회 부회장, 김기수 법제 위원, 대전시·포항시·창원시·김포시 협회 회원과 우리 시 전기차 사용자 등 40여 명이 참석했다.
유인호 의원은 “ 세종시는 지난해 1.7%의 보급률을 보이고 있음에도 여전히 인프라가 미흡하여 전기차 정책 만족도 설문조사 결과 72%가 불만족하다고 응답했다”고 설명했다.
최근 세종시는 미세먼지·온실가스 감축 등 대기환경 개선을 위한 무공해차 보급 정책에 발맞춰 전기·수소차 보조금 지원을 확대했다.
전기차의 경우 지난해보다 2배 증액된 400만원의 지방비 보조금을 편성했고 총 187억 4천만원을 투입해 전기차 1,060대와 수소차 131대 등 총 1,191대를 보급한다는 계획이다.
유 의원은 “전기차 보급에 따른 정책 인프라 환경 개선을 위한 그간의 한국전기차사용자협회 김성태 회장의 노력에 감사한다”며 “앞으로 세종시가 무공해 자동차 보급 선도도시가 될 수 있도록 구축된 인프라 사용 저해 행위 감독 등 다양한 활동을 기대한다”고 언급했다.
유 의원은 “전기차가 늘어나는 만큼 인프라 구축도 시급하지만 해마다 증가하는 화제 등 안전에 대한 철저한 대비도 반드시 함께해야 한다”라고 말했다.
