전남도, ‘2023 노후 관광지 재생사업’3곳에 60억 투입

도, 예비비 긴급투입해 취약계층․농어업인 전기․난방․유류비 지원

(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자= 전남도는 관광객 유치로 관광산업 회복 및 지역경제 활성화를 위한 ‘2023 노후 관광지 재생사업’ 공모를 추진해 3곳을 선정, 총 60억 원을 지원할 계획이다.


‘노후 관광지 재생사업’은 전남도 시책사업으로 10년 이상 된 노후시설과 콘텐츠를 개선하고 장애인․노약자 등 관광 약자를 위한 무장애 시설을 조성하는 사업이다.


현재 전남에는 관광지 27개소, 관광단지 6개소, 관광특구 2개소 등 총 35개소의 관광명소가 운영되고 있다. 이 중 지정 30년 이상 시설이 14개소에 달해 최신 관광 추세를 적용한 체험형 감성 시설과 콘텐츠로 개선이 필요하다.


‘노후 관광지 재생사업’ 공모는 2월 24일까지 진행한다. 시군 사업 신청서를 받아 전문가 심사를 거쳐 1차 6개소를 선정하고, 2차 현장심사를 통해 최종 3개소를 선정한다. 선정된 3개소에는 도와 시군이 각 50%를 부담해 총 60억 원을 지원한다.


김기홍 전남도 관광문화체육국장은 “전남 고유의 매력이 담긴 우수한 관광지를 지속해서 조성하는 등 전남 방문의 해 관광객 1억 명 유치 목표 달성에 박차를 가하겠다”고 밝혔다.
