윤 대통령 UAE 경제사절단 명단 확정..이재용·정의선·최태원 함께 한다

중소·중견 69개사·대기업 24개사·경제단체 및 협회조합 7개 등 총 100개사 참가

브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 한국무역협회(KITA)가 10일 윤석열 대통령의 아랍에미리트연합국(UAE) 방문에 동행할 경제사절단 참가기업 100개사의 명단을 발표했다.

 

무협에 따르면 이번 사절단은 한국무역협회의 경제사절단 모집공고를 통해 신청서를 제출한 기업을 대상으로 선정했다. 주요 경제 단체 및 기관 대표, 지역 전문가 등 10명의 선정위원으로 구성된 선정위원회의 2차례 심의를 거쳐 최종 확정했다.

 

선정위원회는 신청 기업들을 대상으로 △사업 관련성 △사업 유망성 △수주 및 계약 가능성 등 기대성과를 종합 고려해 선정했다.

 

이번 경제사절단은 윤석열 대통령 취임 이후 최초 파견되는 경제사절단으로 대기업 24개(시장형 공기업 포함), 중소·중견기업 69개(참가기업 중 69%), 경제단체·협회조합 7개 등 총 100개사로 구성됐다.

 

업종별로는 에너지·인프라 건설, 방위산업, ICT, 게임콘텐츠, 스마트팜, 관광·서비스, 소비재 등 양국 간 산업협력이 활발한 분야와 향후 성장 가능성이 큰 고부가가치·첨단기술 분야 관련 기업이 포함됐다.

 

아울러 경쟁력을 갖춘 중소·중견기업의 해외 시장 진출을 적극적으로 지원하기 위해 전체 경제사절단 참가기업 중 69%에 해당하는 69개사의 유망 중소·중견기업을 포함했다.

   

참석 주요 인사들로는 구자열 한국무역협회 회장을 비롯해, 이재용 삼성전자 회장, 정의선 현대자동차그룹 회장, 박지원 두산에너빌리티 회장, 정기선 HD현대 사장, 허용수 GS에너지 사장, 최태원 대한상공회의소 회장, 손경식 한국경영자총협회 회장, 김기문 중소기업중앙회 회장, 최진식 중견기업연합회 회장 등이 포함됐다.

 

참여 기업들에 대한 비용 지원은 없으며 항공, 숙소 등은 전적으로 참여 업체가 부담한다. 

 

한편, 이번 경제사절단은 우리 기업의 아랍에미리트연합국(UAE) 및 중동 시장 진출을 지원하고 양국의 민간 경제 협력을 강화하기 위해 구성됐으며, 현지에서 한-UAE 비즈니스 포럼 및 경제협력 MOU 체결(한국무역협회 주관, 1/16 아부다비), 비즈니스 상담회(KOTRA 주관) 등 다양한 행사를 개최, UAE 경제인들과의 구체적 협력 방안에 대해 논의하고 기업인 간 네트워크 구축 기회를 마련할 예정이다.
