연성대 외식산업 최고경영자 과정 총동문회 정영달 회장의 주선으로 재단법인 불교안양원 안양시노인종합복지관(관장 혜철 스님, 이하 복지관)에 자동차 레이가 전달됐다.
연성대 외식산업 최고경영자과정 총동문회는 지난 4월 19일 안양시노인종합복지관 후원금 200만원을 전달했다. 이 때 혜철 스님이 “노인들 이동과 물품 이송에 편리한 차량으로 경차 ‘레이’가 절실하게 필요하다”고 추가 지원을 요청했다. 정영달 회장은 “다른 단체들과 협력해서라도 방법을 찾아보겠다”고 답했다.
정영달 회장은 백방으로 노력했고, 마침내 초록우산 어린이재단과 사랑의 열매를 통해 안양시노인종합복지관에 ‘레이’ 지원이라는 결과를 이끌어냈다.
