대기업 CEO, “책임경영 한다더니 립 서비스?”..자사주 2300억 매도

매입 고작 709억원 매도 3분의 1 수준..코리아센터 최다

올 들어 주가 하락이 이어지자 대기업 최고경영자(CEO)들이 2300억 원 규모의 자사주를 대량 매도한 것으로 나타났다.

 

반대로 자사주 매입 규모는 710억 원에도 못 미쳐, 매도액의 3분의 1 수준에 그쳤다. 적잖은 CEO들이 “주가 하락에도 실적을 책임지는 책임경영을 하겠다”고 외쳤지만, 결국 립서비스에 그친 셈이다.

 

10일 CEO스코어에 따르면 올 들어 7월 말까지 시총 500대 기업의 대표이사 자사주 보유 현황을 조사한 결과 이들이 매도한 금액은 2270억 원으로, 매수액 709억 원의 3.2배에 달했다.

 

자사주를 보유한 대기업 현직 대표이사는 705명 중 468명(66.4%)이다. 자사주 보유 대표이사 수는 지난해 말 444명에서 468명으로 24명(5.4%) 증가했다. 

 

반면, 이들이 보유한 지분 가치는 43조965억원에서 36조136억원으로 16.4%(7조829억원) 감소했다. 같은 기간 코스피지수가 2977.65에서 2451.50으로 526.15p(17.7%)나 급락한 탓이다.

 

조사기간 자사주를 매입한 대표이사는 총 69명으로, 이중 오너 경영인은 22명(31.9%), 전문 경영인은 47명(68.1%)이었다. 

 

이들이 매입한 자사주 총 수는 344만3520주다. 이 중 오너 경영인은 307만9556주를 매입해 전체의 89.4%를 차지했고, 전문 경영인은 36만3964주를 매입해 10.6%를 차지했다.

 

개인별로는 한국비엔씨 오너인 최완규 대표가 3월 중순 유상증자에 참여해 자사주 166만9492주를 매입하는 데 200억3400만원을 출연했다. 조사 대상 대표이사 자사주 매입 총액의 28.3%에 달하는 규모다.

 

다음으로 △김용우 더존비즈온 대표(129억원) △김재진 이오플로우 대표(91억6400만원) △김연수 한글과컴퓨터 대표(38억200만원) △원종석 신영증권 대표(22억7300만원) △박선순 다원시스 대표(22억2100만원) 등이 자사주를 많이 매입한 오너 경영인에 속한다.

 

전문 경영인중에서는 △진대제 솔루스첨단소재 대표가 15억1200만원으로 가장 많았고, △신원근 카카오페이 대표(11억3900만원) △노재석 SK아이이테크놀로지 대표(10억7600만원) 등이 10억원 이상씩을 출연했다.

 

반대로 같은 기간 대기업 CEO들의 자사주 매도 규모는 2270억1600만원으로, 매수액의 3.2배에 달했다. 이 중 오너 경영인의 매도액 규모는 2080억1800만원으로 전체의 91.6%를 차지했으며, 전문 경영인의 매도액은 189억9800만원(8.4%)이었다.

 

개인별로는 코리아센터의 오너인 김기록 대표가 886억6200만원어치를 매도해 전체 매도액의 39.1%를 차지했다. 김 대표는 지난 3월 온라인쇼핑 중개 전문 중견기업 다나와 인수를 위한 자금조달을 목적으로 MBK(한국이커머스홀딩스)에 자사주 852만5149주를 매각했다.

 

이어 △김기병 롯데관광개발 대표(392억4000만원) △함영준 오뚜기 대표(384억4600만원) △최완규 한국비엔씨 대표(275억4000만원) △박상우 엔케이맥스 대표(96억5300만원) 등 오너 경영인이 자사주를 많이 매각했다. 김기병 롯데관광개발 대표는 제주 드림타워 보갑리조트 사업비를 위해, 함영준 오뚜기 대표는 상속세 완납을 위해 계열사인 오뚜기라면지주에 자사주를 매각했다.

 

이외 전문 경영인으로는 김도형 노터스 대표가 105억7800만원을 매도해 전문 경영인 중 매도액 규모가 가장 많았고, △허진영 펄어비스 대표(50억8100만원) △신승대 디와이피엔에프 대표(27억6000만원) 등이 그 뒤를 이었다.

 

한편, 올해 신규로 자사주를 매입한 CEO중에서는 김연수 한글과컴퓨터 대표(38억200만원)가 가장 많은 사재를 출연했고, △신원근 카카오페이 대표(11억3900만원) △노재석 SK아이이테크놀로지 대표(10억7600만원) 순이었다.
