(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자= 전라남도는 올해부터 신생아 캠 서비스를 모든 공공산후조리원으로 확대해 산모와 가족들에게 큰 호응을 받고 있다고 밝혔다.
신생아 캠 서비스는 모바일 앱을 통해 부모가 언제 어디서나 아이를 실시간으로 확인할 수 있는 서비스다. 최근 코로나19 등 신생아 감염을 우려해 산후조리원의 외부인 방문이 제한돼 아이를 보고 싶은 산모와 가족을 위해 신생아 캠 설치가 확대되는 추세다.
전남도는 비대면 서비스가 느는 추세를 감안해 지난해 캠 서비스 사업을 해남공공산후조리원에 우선 시행했다.
시범사업 실시 후 만족도를 조사한 결과 86% 이상이 만족하고 캠 서비스 확대를 요구해 올해부터 다른 공공산후조리원으로 확대한 것이다.
서비스를 이용한 산모들은 “아이를 믿고 맡길 수 있어 산후조리에 도움이 되고 특히 가족들도 아이 얼굴을 마음껏 볼 수 있어 좋다”고 만족해했다.
공공산후조리원을 이용하는 강진의 한 산모 남편은 “모내기 등 농사 준비로 면회가 어려운데 실시간으로 모바일을 통해 사랑스러운 아이를 볼 수 있어 너무 좋다”고 말했다.
선양규 전남도 인구청년정책관은 “아이 면회가 어려운 가족을 위해 신생아 캠 서비스를 시작했다”며 “아이 낳고 키우기 좋은 출산환경을 조성하는 데 더욱 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
전남지역 공공산후조리원은 임시 개원한 순천을 포함해 5개소가 운영 중이다. 지난해 이용자는 904명이다. 출생아 10명 중 1명꼴로 이용한 셈이다.
