(양평=브레이크뉴스 경기동북부)하인규 기자=양평동부청소년문화의집 씨앗센터(관장 마세근)는 지난 26일 산림청 국립자연휴양관리소와 청소년 창의적 체험활동을 위한 업무 협약을 체결했다.
이날 협약은 산림청 국립자연휴양림관리소 북부지역(팀장 서영성)에서 청소년 숲체험 프로그램과 숲 해설가 지원을 위해 마련됐으며 협약에 따라 양평군 청소년의 꿈과 끼를 키우는 창의적 체험활동을 지속해서 추진하기로 했다. 또한, 양 기관의 자원을 활용해 자문, 교육 등 실무차원의 협의를 통해 청소년의 창의적 체험 활성화에 힘쓴다는 계획이다.
한편, 이번 협약은 지난 3월에 선정된 현충시설 활성화(체험,탐방)지원 공모사업과 연계해 관내 초등학교 5학년 약 800여 명을 대상으로 오는 5월부터 11월까지 총 16차시 자유학기제로 참여할 예정이며, 몽양 여운형 기념관 체험을 통해 우리나라의 독립운동과 근현대 역사를 알아보고, 역사탐방 및 숲 체험을 통해 고장의 역사를 학습하며 어린이들의 문화재 보호활동과 자연환경 보호 의식을 높일 것으로 기대된다.
서영성 팀장은 “양평동부청소년문화의집과 함께 지역 청소년의 창의적 체험을 위한 업무 협력에 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
