이용섭 광주광역시장은 7일 I-PLEX광주에서 코로나19 장기화로 어려움을 겪고 있는 청년일자리 참여청년 및 기업 관계자 등 20명과 현장 간담회를 개최했다.

 

이번 간담회는 코로나19 장기화에 따른 청년들의 어려움을 현장에서 파악하고 지원책을 마련하기 위해 지난 3일부터 운영되고 있는 ‘코로나19 극복을 위한 청년·청소년 특별주간’의 행사로 마련됐다.

 

이날 행사는 윤승호 광주테크노파크 일자리사업부장의 지역주도형 청년일자리 사업 보고에 이어 나무인텔리전스 김경우 대표, 윤채린 DNA디자인 관계자 등의 우수사례 발표, 간담회 등 순으로 진행됐다.

 

특히 이 시장은 I-PLEX광주에 입주해있는 청년기업의 제품을 살펴보고 이어 열린 간담회에서 청년들이 현장에서 느낀 점과 기업의 애로사항 등을 청취했다.

 

간담회에서 청년과 기업 관계자들은 ▲청년고용 우수기업 지원 ▲청년일자리 사업 지원기간 연장 ▲참여청년 대상 역량강화 프로그램 지원 ▲유튜버를 활용한 청년일자리 사업 홍보 등을 건의했다.
