동학개미운동 열풍..1년새 상장사 소액주주 80% 늘었다

삼성전자 소액주주 159만 늘어 ‘1위..현대차·카카오·네이버·대한항공 증가 ‘톱5’

신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 확산 이후 우량주와 언택트·친환경·코로나19 관련주 등 테마주에 개인 주식투자자들이 몰리면서 주가 상승을 이끌었다는 분석이다.

 

7일 기업평가사이트 CEO스코어에 따르면 국내 상장사 중 지난해 말 기준 2019년과 비교 가능한 2041곳의 소액주주 수를 조사한 결과, 지난해 말 기준 소액주주 수는 4493만6847명으로 집계됐다.

 

이는 전년 2502만4942명 대비 79.6%(1991만1905명) 증가한 수치다. 소액주주는 의결권이 있는 발행주식 총수의 100분의 1에 미달하는 주식을 소유한 주주를 말한다.

 

코스피 상장 752개 기업의 소액주주 수는 작년 말 기준 2551만3337명으로 전년 말 1378만1858명 대비 85.1%(1173만1479명) 증가했다. 같은 기간 코스닥 상장 1289개 기업은 1124만3084명에서 1942만3510명으로 72.8%(818만426명) 늘었다.
