브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 김지원 아나운서가 KBS를 떠난다.
김지원 아나운서는 15일 자신의 인스타그램에 “이제 저는 KBS 아나운서직을 내려놓고, 한의대 도전이라는 새로운 걸음을 떼려 한다”며 말문을 열었다.
김지원 아나운서는 “아역부터 아나운서까지 방송과 함께 살아오면서 저라는 사람이 단순한 말하기 보다는 스스로 고민해서 찾은 인사이트를 전달할 때 희열을 느낀단 걸 깨닫게 됐다. 조금 더 나답게, 원하는 모습을 구체화하기 위해서는 다시금 공부가 꼭 필요해졌다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “한동안은 ‘그래서 어떤 전문 영역을 갖고 싶은가?’의 지점에 멈춰있었는데, 최근 인생 최대 위기였던 번아웃 때문에 환자로 시간을 보내다가 너무나도 파고 들어 보고 싶은 한의학을 만났다”고 전했다.
또 “예쁘게 빛나는 것도 좋지만 더 깊은 사람이 되고 싶다. 설령 실패로 끝나더라도, 자본주의가 대체할 수 없는 신개념 톱니바퀴가 되기 위한 마지막 도전을 해보려 한다. 제게는 아직 퇴직금이라는 일말의 여유와 뛰어넘고 싶은 롤모델이 있기에”라고 말했다.
