브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 유명 보디빌더 김기중 씨가 한의원에서 부항으로 인한 세균이 감염돼 사망했다.
김기중 씨의 동생 A씨는 지난 27일 김기중 인스타그램을 통해 “사랑하는 오빠가 먼저 하늘나라로 갔다. 황망한 마음에 일일이 연락 드리지 못함을 널리 혜량해주길 바란다”며 고인의 사망 소식을 전했다.
앞서 김기중은 지난 8일 자신의 인스타그램에 “제 지금 상태를 남긴다. 어이없게도 한의원 부항으로 인한 세균감염이 됐다”며 “9월 30일 어깨 겨드랑이에 붓기가 보이길래 동네 한의원에 가서 부항을 떴다. 두 번의 부항을 떴는데 그 와중 상처 부위에 구멍을 크게 냈고 진물 고름이 나왔다. 그 구멍을 통해 온몸에 세균이 들어왔다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “10월 3일 너무 아파 응급실로 바로 왔다. 세균 수치로 인해 신장, 콩팥, 칼륨, 포타슘 간 전해질 기능이 망가졌다”며 “다행히 수치도 내리고 지금은 수술받은 부위 회복에 신경 쓰고 추스르고 있다. 일단 수술은 잘 끝났다. 이참에 일 좀 쉬면서 몸을 추스르려고 한다”며 근황을 알렸다.

한편, 1989년생 김기중 씨는 지난해 열린 ‘2019 피트니스스타 부천’ 대회에서 머슬 부분 그랑프리를 차지하는 등 다수의 대회에서 활약한 바 있다.
