브레이크뉴스 노보림 기자= 서울에서 인플루엔자(독감) 예방접종을 한 뒤 2명이 사망하는 일이 또 발생했다. 이에 따라 최근 전국적으로 독감 백신을 접종한 뒤 사망했다는 의심 사례가 총 24건으로 늘었다.
22일 서울시에 따르면 서울 강남구와 영등포구에서 각각 독감백신을 맞은 뒤 사망한 사례 1건씩 총 2건이 보고됐다. 이들은 앞서 경기 광명시에서 독감 백신 접종 후 사망한 강서구민(50대·여)의 사례와는 별개이다.
강남구 거주자인 A(84)씨는 지난 19일 독감 백신을 접종했으며 22일 오전 10시20분 경 사망했다. A씨는 파킨슨병으로 삼성동 소재 한 재활병원에 입원 중이었으며 독감 백신 주사를 맞은 뒤부터 갑자기 건강상태가 악화된 것으로 전해졌다.
두번째 사망자는 영등포구 거주 중인 70대 남성으로, 지난 21일 오전 9시30분 경 주사를 맞고 약 3시간 후인 낮 12시30분 사망했다. 이 사망자는 기저질환은 없었으며 주사를 맞고 직장이 있는 부천으로 이동한 이후 쓰러졌다. 이후 급히 부천성모병원으로 이송됐으나 사망했다.
앞서 강서구에 거주 53세 여성은 지난 17일 낮 12시 경 경기도 광명시 소재 한 의원에서 독감 주사를 맞고 나서 사흘 뒤인 20일 호흡곤란 증상을 보였고, 21일 오전 사망했다.
서울시 관계자는 "오늘 사망사례 2건이 새로 보고돼 자세한 상황은 확인 중"이라며 "심층 역학조사를 진행할 예정"이라고 밝혔다.
한편, 16일 인천을 시작으로 20일 고창, 대전, 목포에 이어 21일 제주, 대구, 광명, 고양, 통영, 춘천 등 곳곳에서 속출하면서 22일 오후 4시 기준 전국에서 총 24명의 사망자가 나왔다.
22일 인천에선 독감 백신을 맞은 70대 남성이 숨졌다. 인천 선학동에 거주하는 이 남성은 지난 20일 오후 7시께 연수구 한 의원에서 독감 백신을 접종한 사실을 확인한 뒤 보건 당국에 통보했다. 인천에서 독감 백신 접종 후 사망사례가 발생한 것은 지난 16일 숨진 고등학생 C(17)군 이후 두번째다.
경북에서도 22일 독감백신 접종 후 사망자 2명이 추가됐다. 상주와 영주에서 독감백신을 접종한 70대와 80대가 사망했다. 이로써 독감 백신 의심 경북지역 사망자는 4명으로 늘었다.
강원도 춘천에서도 70대가 독감백신 접종 후 사망했다. 22일 오전 길에 쓰러져 있는 것을 행인이 발견해 신고했고, 119구급대가 병원으로 이송했으나 사망 선고를 받았다.
경남 통영에 거주하는 78세 남성은 지난 20일 통영 소재 한 의원에서 독감 접종 후 이날 오전 목욕탕에서 숨진 채 발견됐다. 그는 평소 고혈압과 당뇨, 신장병 등을 앓아온 것으로 알려졌다.
