500대 기업, CEO 경영평가 ‘톱5’..1위 기우성 셀트리온 대표

기우성 셀트리온 대표이사 부회장이 국내 500대 기업 CEO 중 가장 탁월한 경영성적을 거둔 것으로 나타났다.

 

이어 박찬복 롯데글로벌로지스 대표, 조남창 대림건설 대표, 박정호 SK텔레콤 대표, 손경식·강신호 CJ제일제당 대표 등이 높은 점수를 기록해 CEO 평가 ‘톱5’에 올랐다.

 

21일 CEO스코어에 따르면 국내 500대 기업 CEO(오너 포함) 159명의 지난해와 올 상반기 경영성적을 점수로 환산한 결과, 평균 53.62점으로 집계됐다.

 

500대 기업 CEO의 경영평가는 반기 및 결산보고서 제출 기업 중 1년 이상 재임한 CEO를 대상으로 했다. 평가비중은 지난해와 올 상반기 경영성과를 50대 50으로 했다.

 

항목별 점수는 △매출성장률 △연평균성장률(CAGR) 초과수익률 △자기자본이익률(ROE) △부채비율 △고용증가율 등 5개 부문에 각 20점을 부여해 총 100점 만점으로 집계했다.

 

지난해 미‧중 무역 갈등 및 글로벌 저성장 기조에 이어 올해 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 세계적 대유행으로 인해 매출과 이익, 고용 등 전반적인 경영지표들이 배점의 절반 수준에 머물면서 평균 점수도 50점대 초반에 머문 것으로 분석된다. 지난해 500대 기업 CEO의 평균 경영점수(54.26점)에 비해 0.64점 낮아졌다.

 

특히, 올해 코로나19에 따른 국가 간 교역과 소비가 위축됨에 따라 수출 의존도가 높은 국내 기업들의 경영활동이 큰 타격을 받은 것이 경영점수 산정에 부정적으로 작용했다. 실제, CEO 들의 작년 결산 평균 경영점수는 54.27점인데 반해 올 상반기 점수는 52.98점으로 1.29점 줄었다.

 

항목별 평균 점수는 CAGR 초과수익률이 11.66점으로 가장 높았고, △고용 11.07점 △매출성장률 10.83점 △부채비율 10.09점 △ROE 9.97점 등이었다.

 

대내외적 악조건 속에서도 경영성적이 60점을 넘은 CEO는 전체의 19.5%(31명)에 달했다.

 

기우성 셀트리온 대표와 박찬복 롯데글로벌로지스 대표는 각각 70.94점, 70.36점으로 70점 이상을 획득했다.

 

기우성 대표는 고용 부문 점수가 17.19점으로 가장 높았고 CAGR 초과수익률(16.63점), 매출성장(14.13점), ROE(12.5점), 부채비율(10.5점) 등 전 부문에서 높은 평가를 받았다. 특히, 고용 항목은 전체 CEO 중 가장 높아 산업계 전반적인 고용 위축 분위기에서도 눈에 띄는 모습을 보였다.

 

박찬복 대표는 CAGR 초과수익률(17.15점), 매출성장(16.74점), 고용(15.23점), 부채비율(10.75점), ROE(10.5점) 등의 성적표를 받았다.

 

이어 조남창 대림건설 대표 69.63점, 박정호 SK텔레콤 대표 68.94점, 손경식·강신호 CJ제일제당 대표 66.48점, 김범년 한전KPS 대표 65.95점, 김형기 셀트리온헬스케어 대표 65.38점, 정교선·강찬석 현대홈쇼핑 대표 65.29점, 윤춘성 LG상사 대표 64.95점, 박근희 CJ대한통운 대표 64.61점 등이 톱10에 이름을 올렸다.
 
한편, 13개 업종별 경영점수 상위 3인의 평균 점수를 산출한 결과, 운송업종 CEO가 평균 65.79점으로 가장 높은 점수를 받았다. 이어 제약(65.06점), 건설 및 건자재(64.19점), 서비스(인터넷&게임)(62.92점), 자동차·부품(62.5점), 서비스(기타)(61.6점), 식음료(61.37점), 석유화학(61.2점), IT전기전자(60.69점) 등도 60점 이상이었다.
