충남도의회 예산결산특별위원회는 10일 제371회 임시회 제1차 회의를 열고 2026년도 충청남도 제2회 추가경정예산안을 심사해 총 2건, 1억 4,224만 원을 삭감 의결했다고 밝혔다.
충청남도가 제출한 제2회 추가경정예산안의 총규모는 기금을 포함해 12조 9,258억 원으로, 기정예산인 13조 101억 원보다 843억 원 줄어든 규모다. 회계별로는 일반회계가 1,162억 원 감소했으나, 특별회계와 기금은 각각 267억 원, 52억 원 증가했다.
예결특위는 이번 심사에서 추경 편성 목적의 적합성을 비롯해 사업의 시급성과 연내 집행 가능성 등을 집중 검토해 예산을 조정했다.
주요 삭감 내역을 살펴보면 구제역 예방접종 시술비 지원 사업과 구제역·AI 관리기간 해제 매몰지 사후관리 사업 등 총 2개 사업이 대상에 포함됐다.
황재만 예결특위 위원장은 예산안 심사 후 사업의 효율적 추진과 도민 생활에 밀접한 예산의 신속한 집행을 당부하며, 이번 추경이 지역경제 활성화와 도민 생활 안정에 실질적인 도움이 되기를 바란다고 강조했다.
한편 예결특위 심사를 거친 충청남도 제2회 추가경정예산안은 오는 15일 열리는 제371회 임시회 제4차 본회의에 상정되어 최종 심의 및 의결을 거치게 된다..
