충남 천안시가 수도권 이전 기업을 비롯한 4개 유망 기업과 대규모 투자 협약을 맺으며 지역 산업 기반 강화에 속도를 낸다.
천안시는 10일 충남도청 대회의실에서 열린 ‘국내기업 합동 투자양해각서(MOU)’ 체결식에서 4개 기업과 총 3,157억 원 규모의 투자 협약을 완료했다.
이번 협약에 따라 각 기업은 천안 지역 내 총 8만 7,558㎡ 부지에 생산 공장을 신·증설하거나 이전하게 되며, 이를 통해 422명의 신규 고용 창출이 이루어질 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.
기업별 투자 내역을 살펴보면, 자동차 전장부품 제조 기업인 A사는 수도권 사업장을 풍세면 보성리로 이전하여 1만 5,207㎡ 부지에 1,135억 원을 투입해 공장을 신축하고 328명을 채용한다.
중견기업 삼영순화는 제5일반산업단지 1만 1,460㎡ 부지에 989억 원을 들여 초고순도 과산화수소 생산 라인을 증설하고 43명을 신규 고용할 예정이다.
또한 덕산네오룩스는 테크노파크 일반산단 4만 3,547㎡ 부지에 668억 원을 투자해 OLED 소재 공장을 신설하며 10명을 채용하기로 했다. 케이디코로스전지는 성거일반산단 1만 7,344㎡ 부지에 365억 원을 투입해 리튬 일차전지 생산 시설을 증설하고 41명을 고용할 방침이다.
천안시는 기업들이 원활하게 투자를 진행할 수 있도록 신속한 인허가 절차를 지원함은 물론, 관련 법령이 허용하는 범위 내에서 재정적 지원을 아끼지 않을 계획이다. 이에 발맞춰 투자 기업들도 지역 주민 우선 채용과 지역 농수축산물 소비 확대에 힘을 보태며 지역 상생 발전을 도모하기로 뜻을 모았다.
