대전 지역 어르신들이 지혜와 경험을 바탕으로 지역사회 봉사 성과를 공유하고 노년의 주체적인 사회참여 가치를 넓히는 자리가 마련됐다.
대전시사회서비스원 소속 대전시노인복지관(관장 김소희)은 10일 복지관 대강당에서 대전 지역 선배시민 자원봉사자와 관계자 150여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘제7회 대전 선배시민 지역대회’를 개최했다.
이번 대회는 대덕구노인종합복지관, 대전시노인복지관, 동구정다운어르신복지관, 동구행복한어르신복지관, 유등노인복지관 등 5개 수행기관이 함께 모여 그동안 펼쳐온 자원봉사 성과와 경험을 공유하고 선배시민의 주체적인 사회 역할을 다짐하기 위해 개최됐다.
본 행사에 앞서 각 기관은 홍보·체험 부스를 운영해 기관별 봉사활동을 알리고 서로의 경험을 교류했다.
이어진 1부 기념식에서는 실버오케스트라와 은빛소리합창단의 식전 공연에 이어 우수 봉사자 5명과 우수 사례 봉사단 5개 팀에 대한 시상이 진행됐다.
수상자들은 지난 3월부터 취약계층 어르신 밑반찬 지원, 치매 어르신 인지·정서 돌봄, 노인복지 콘텐츠 제작 및 홍보 등 다양한 분야에서 실천해 온 봉사 성과를 인정받았다.
2부 성과공유회에서는 통기타 봉사단의 축하공연을 시작으로 우수 봉사단의 사례 발표와 영상 상영이 이어졌다.
주요 사례로는 파티플래너 봉사를 통해 독거 어르신·미혼모 시설 영아·보호치료 청소년의 생일 파티를 열어 정서적 지지를 제공한 활동과, 재활용품을 수거·교환해 생필품으로 전달하는 자원순환 나눔 캠페인 등이 소개돼 큰 호응을 얻었다.

Key examples that garnered a positive response included providing emotional support by hosting birthday parties for elderly people living alone, infants in facilities for single mothers, and youths in protective care through party-planning volunteer work, as well as a resource-recycling sharing campaign that collects and exchanges recyclable items for daily necessities.
