8일(현지시간) 한·프랑스 정상회담에서 국방·첨단기술·원전 등 분야 협정·MOU(양해각서) 16건이 체결됐다고 청와대가 전했다.
청와대에 따르면 이날 오후 이재명·에마뉘엘 마크롱 프랑스 대통령 간 프랑스 파리 엘리제궁 정상회담에서 이같이 합의된 후 협정·MOU 교환식이 이뤄졌다.
양국은 '군사비밀정보보호협정 개정의정서'에 서명한 가운데 보안당국에 프랑스 국방·국가안보사무국장이 추가됐다.
또 조속한 '상호군수지원협정' 체결에 합의한데 이어 삼성전자·프랑스 AI(인공지능) 기업 미스트랄 간 투자 협약이 이뤄진 가운데 삼성이 미스트랄AI에 전략적 투자자로 참여하면서 반도체 노하우 보호 사내용 AI 모델을 공동 개발키로 했다.
AI·반도체·양자 분야 공동 R&D(연구개발)·스타트업 협력·투자 확대 등 추진 MOU 및 장관급 산업전략대화 신설·분야별 작업반 운영 '산업협력·경쟁력 MOU'도 체결됐다.
대한무역투자진흥공사(코트라)·프랑스 무역·투자진흥기관 간 교역·투자 확대 '비즈니스 협력 MOU' 및 한국수력원자력·프랑스 핵연료기업 오라노 간 '장기 농축역무 공급 협력 의향서'도 체결했다.
한국원자력연구원·프랑스 원전 기업 프라마톰 간 차세대 SMR(소형모듈원전) 공동 연구 등을 위한 원자력 연구개발 협력 MOU를 추진키로 한데 이어 '항공협정 개정의정서'도 체결됐다.
