대전 중구가 지역 대표 명품 축제인 ‘제17회 대전효문화뿌리축제’의 완성도를 높이기 위해 막바지 점검에 나섰다.
중구는 8일 구청 대회의실에서 김제선 중구청장을 비롯해 축제 추진위원회 위원, 중구의회 의원, 간부 공무원 등이 참석한 가운데 ‘제17회 대전효문화뿌리축제 최종보고회’를 개최했다.
이날 보고회에서는 그동안 추진해 온 축제 준비 상황을 비롯해 세부 프로그램 구성, 현장 운영 및 안전 관리 계획 등을 종합적으로 공유하고 실천 방안을 점검했다.
특히 구는 지난 착수보고회에서 수렴된 피드백을 반영해 핵심 주제인 ‘뿌리’의 가치가 개별 콘텐츠에 자연스럽게 드러나도록 기획을 대폭 보완했다. 뿌리공원과 성씨·문중 자원을 다각도로 활용하는 한편, 전통 문화와 현대적 감각을 접목한 맞춤형 프로그램을 차별화 요소로 내세웠다.
김제선 중구청장은 “대전효문화뿌리축제는 뿌리공원이라는 유일무이한 자원을 활용해 우리 지역의 역사와 문화를 깊이 있게 전달하는 핵심 자산”이라며 “축제의 독창적인 정체성을 확고히 다져 방문객 모두가 효와 뿌리의 가치를 체감할 수 있는 대한민국 대표 축제로 자리매김하겠다”고 의지를 밝혔다.
한편, 제17회 대전효문화뿌리축제는 오는 10월 2일부터 4일까지 사흘간 뿌리공원과 원도심 일원에서 다채롭게 펼쳐질 예정이다.
