[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 양산시가 악성민원 증가로 어려움을 겪는 민원담당 직원들의 현장 고충을 듣고 대응체계와 근무환경 개선 방안을 논의했다.
양산시는 18일 나동연 양산시장과 시청 및 읍·면·동 민원창구 담당자들이 참석한 가운데 소통 간담회를 열었다.
간담회에서는 민원 응대 과정에서 발생하는 직원들의 부담과 점심시간 교대근무에 따른 어려움 등이 주요 안건으로 다뤄졌다. 참석 직원들은 현장에서 체감하는 문제와 함께 실효성 있는 민원 대응체계 및 직원 보호대책 마련을 건의했다.
시는 건의사항 가운데 즉시 반영할 수 있는 사항은 우선 추진하고, 추가 검토가 필요한 사안도 검토해 민원창구 직원들이 안전한 환경에서 근무할 수 있도록 지원할 계획이다.
나동연 시장은 “행정의 최일선에서 시민을 상대하는 민원담당 직원들이 혼자 어려움을 감당하지 않도록 하겠다”며 “직원들이 안전하게 근무할 수 있는 환경을 만들기 위해 보호와 지원을 강화하겠다”고 말했다.
