이날 취임식 행사에는 윤명희 통합특별시의원을 비롯해 지역 내 주요 기관 및 사회단체장, 장흥군민 등 300여 명의 내외빈이 대거 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.
행사는 지역 문화의 번영과 새로운 출발을 기원하는 개막 휘호 퍼포먼스로 시작해, 다채로운 식전 문화 공연과 공식 취임식 순으로 밀도 있게 진행됐다. 참석자들은 새롭게 출발하는 전남문화원연합회의 비전에 공감하며 지역 문화 진흥을 위한 협력과 소통을 다짐했다.
