증평군새마을회는 12일 홀몸어르신 35명을 대상으로 마음 든든, 한 끼 가득 밑반찬 나눔 봉사를 진행했다. MG새마을금고의 후원으로 마련된 이번 사업은 혼자 거주하는 어르신들에게 영양가 높은 먹거리를 지원하고 주기적으로 안부를 살피기 위해 월 2회 추진된다.
이날 봉사 현장에 모인 새마을지도자들은 어르신들이 안심하고 먹을 수 있는 정성 어린 밑반찬과 국을 직접 조리했다. 봉사자들은 조리된 음식을 들고 어르신 가정을 일일이 방문해 전달하면서 건강 상태와 생활 여건을 체크하는 돌봄 활동을 펼쳤다.
