(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서해구가 지난 11일 서해구청 지하 대회의실에서 주민참여예산위원회 위원 49명과 함께 ‘2026년 제7기 주민참여예산위원회 위촉식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
서해구에 따르면, 주민참여예산제도는 예산편성 과정의 주민참여를 보장하고 지방재정 운영의 투명성과 공정성을 높이기 위한 제도로, 구는 주민참여예산제도가 도입된 이래 제도의 성공적 정착과 활성화를 위하여 꾸준히 노력하고 있다.
올해 새롭게 구성되는 제7기 주민참여예산위원회는 서해구의 이름으로 구성되는 첫 주민참여예산위원회로 4개 분과, 49명의 위원으로 구성되며, 분과별로 해당 분야의 사업을 심도 있게 심의·발굴하게 된다.
이날 개최된 위촉식에서는 제7기 위원들에 대한 위촉장 수여, 분과위원장 선출, 임원 선출이 이뤄졌으며, 추후 일정 논의 및 참여예산에 대한 전반적인 토의 등 단순 위촉행사가 아닌 향후 제도의 발전과 원활한 운영을 위한 논의가 이루어진 뜻깊은 자리였다.
