부산시는 5일 오후 3시를 기해 친수구간 조류경보제를 시범 운영 중인 삼락 수상레포츠타운 지점에 조류경보 '관심' 단계를 발령했다고 밝혔다. 이번 발령은 화명 지점에 이어 두 번째이며, 발령권자는 부산광역시장이다.
시는 지난 7월 27일과 8월 3일 실시한 수질 조사에서 삼락 수상레포츠타운 지점의 유해 남조류 세포 수가 각각 ㎖당 7만4천161개와 10만5천220개로 확인됐다고 설명했다. 이는 조류경보 '관심' 단계 발령 기준인 ㎖당 2만 개 이상을 2회 연속 초과한 수치다.
조류경보제는 친수구간에서 남조류 세포 수 또는 조류독소 농도가 기준치를 초과할 경우 발령된다. '관심' 단계는 남조류 세포 수가 ㎖당 2만 개 이상인 상태가 2회 연속 확인될 때 발령되며, '경계' 단계는 ㎖당 10만 개 이상 또는 조류독소가 ℓ당 20마이크로그램(㎍) 이상일 때 적용된다. 남조류 세포 수가 1회 조사에서 ㎖당 50만 개 이상 검출될 경우에도 즉시 '경계' 단계가 발령된다. '해제'는 남조류 세포 수가 ㎖당 2만 개 미만으로 확인될 경우 가능하다.
시는 높은 수온과 지속된 가뭄으로 인한 유속 감소 등 조류 증식에 유리한 환경이 이어지면서 삼락 수상레포츠타운 일대의 남조류 개체 수가 크게 증가한 것으로 분석했다.
이에 따라 시는 삼락생태공원에 수상레저활동과 어패류 어획·식용 자제를 안내하는 현수막을 설치하고 안내 방송과 현장 순찰을 통해 시민 홍보와 계도 활동을 추진할 계획이다.
부산시는 시민들의 친수활동 안전성을 확보하기 위해 지난 2024년부터 삼락·화명 수상레포츠타운을 대상으로 친수구간 조류경보제를 시범 운영하고 있다. 화명 지점에는 지난 7월 8일 처음으로 조류경보 '관심' 단계가 발령됐다.
