3일 오전 서울 종로구에 위치한 포시즌스 호텔 서울에서는 영화 <오디세이> 내한 기자간담회가 개최됐다. 이날 현장에는 크리스토퍼 놀란 감독, 프로듀서 엠마 토마스, 배우 맷 데이먼, 샤를리즈 테론 등이 참석했다. 특히 세계적인 거장 크리스토퍼 놀란 감독은 이번 <오디세이> 프로모션을 통해 한국을 처음 방문했다.
맷 데이먼, 톰 홀랜드, 앤 해서웨이, 로버트 패틴슨, 젠데이아, 샤를리즈 테론 등이 출연한 <오디세이>는 트로이 전쟁을 승리로 이끈 영웅 ‘오디세우스’가 집으로 돌아가기 위해 신들의 분노에 맞서 싸우는 대서사시를 담아낸 시네마틱 블록버스터다.
