홍천군은 지난 23일 ‘FIBA 3x3 홍천 챌린저 2026 대회조직위원회 위촉식 및 업무협약식’을 성황리에 개최하고, 대회의 성공 추진을 위한 강력한 협력 체계를 굳건히 구축했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 신영재 홍천군수와 신은섭 홍천군체육회장을 비롯해 군 및 체육회 주요 관계자 6명과 새롭게 위촉된 조직위원회 위원 15명 등 총 21명이 참석해 대회의 성공을 다짐했다.
이번 대회를 진두지휘할 조직위원장으로는 한국 농구계의 살아있는 전설인 최희암 고려용접봉 부회장(전 연세대·울산 모비스·인천 전자랜드 감독)이 전격 위촉되어 이목을 집중시켰다.
여기에 황준구 바르게살기운동 홍천군협의회장, 김철회 강원특별자치도 농구협회장, 김진환 홍천군청년연합회장, 장한섭 대한소프트테니스협회 실무부회장 등 각계각층의 전문가와 지역 리더들이 부조직위원장으로 대거 합류하며 대회의 안정적이고 빈틈없는 운영을 뒷받침하기로 했다.
