영천시는 21일 시청 시장실에서 농협정보시스템 임직원들이 마련한 고향사랑기부금 기탁식을 열고, 총 1,210만원의 기부금을 전달받았다고 밝혔다.
이번 기부에는 농협정보시스템 임직원 119명이 자발적으로 참여했다. 고향사랑기부제의 취지에 공감한 임직원들이 지역사회 발전과 상생에 힘을 보태기 위해 뜻을 모은 것이다.
이날 기탁식에는 도기윤 농협정보시스템 대표와 이상용 NH농협 영천시지부장 등이 참석해 기부의 의미를 함께 나눴다.
도기윤 대표는 “임직원들이 자발적으로 마음을 모아 영천 발전에 기여할 수 있어 뜻깊게 생각한다”며 “기부금이 지역 주민들에게 도움이 되는 사업에 의미 있게 활용되길 바란다”고 말했다.
김병삼 영천시장은 “지역 발전을 위해 따뜻한 마음을 전해준 농협정보시스템 임직원들에게 감사드린다”며 “소중한 기부금이 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 사업 추진에 잘 활용될 수 있도록 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 고향사랑기부제는 개인이 자신의 주소지를 제외한 지방자치단체에 기부하면 세액공제와 답례품 혜택을 받을 수 있는 제도로, 지역 재정 확충과 지역경제 활성화에 기여하고 있다.

Meanwhile, the Hometown Love Donation System is a program that allows individuals to receive tax deductions and return gifts when donating to local governments other than their place of residence, contributing to the expansion of local finances and the revitalization of the local economy.
