속초시는 지난 20일 시청 별관 회의실에서 ‘2026년 제2차 속초시 여성일자리실무협의체’와 ‘여성친화도시 안전부서 TF 추진단’ 회의를 연이어 개최했다고 21일 밝혔다. 이날 회의는 지역 맞춤형 여성 일자리 발굴과 안전한 생활환경 조성을 위한 부서 및 기관 간 협력 방안을 심도 있게 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.

먼저 오후 2시에 열린 여성일자리실무협의체 회의에는 속초여성새로일하기센터, 속초시가족센터 등 관계 기관이 참석해 지역 여성을 위한 실효성 있는 취업 연계 방안을 다뤘다. 참석자들은 ‘잡(JOB)아라 속초!’ 사업 개선 방향을 비롯해, 다문화 여성 요가 강사 양성 등 관광도시 속초의 특성을 십분 살린 새로운 여성 일자리 발굴에 뜻을 모았다. 특히 특정 직종에 치우친 여성 일자리 구조를 개선하고, 직업교육이 실제 취업으로 직결될 수 있도록 기관 간 협력을 한층 강화하기로 했다.
