시는 지난 13일 무안청사에서 이민정책, 도시재생, 경관·디자인 등 각 분야 전문가들이 참석한 가운데 간담회를 열고, 사업의 성공적인 추진을 위한 세부 계획과 평가 기준 등을 집중 점검했다고 밝혔다.
이번 간담회에서는 지역별 여건과 수요에 맞는 실효성 있는 사업이 발굴될 수 있도록 공모 계획의 적정성을 면밀히 검토했다. 특히 사업 내용의 차별성과 운영 계획, 지속가능성 등을 반영한 구체적인 평가 항목과 배점 기준에 대해 전문가들의 다양한 의견을 수렴했다.
'이주배경주민 복합문화공간 조성사업'은 외국인 주민 거주 지역의 정주환경을 개선하고, 내·외국인이 함께 어우러지는 지역 거점 공간을 만드는 프로젝트다. 총사업비 40억 원(특별시비 40%, 시군비 60%)을 투입해 1~2개소를 선정할 예정이며, 외국인 주민의 안정적인 정착과 지역 경제 활력 제고를 목표로 한다.
