청와대가 10일 "대통령이 직접 참석하는 부동산 정책 국민 대토론회를 23일 개최한다"고 전했다.
김용범 정책실장은 이날 오전 춘추관 브리핑을 통해 "부동산 정책이 정부 판단만으로 완성될 수 있다고 생각 않는다”며 “정부가 일방적 답을 제시하는 게 아닌 국민·전문가가 함께 해법을 만들어가는 과정”이라며 이같이 전했다.
먼저 오는 14~16일까지 국토교통부·금융위·재정경제부 주관 공급·금융·세제 주제로 한 공개 토론회가 열리는데 이어 23일 대통령과 정부관계자, 일반 국민 등이 함께 하는 토론회가 개최된다.
김 실장은 “토론회에 참석 못하는 국민들 의견도 폭넓게 듣겠다”며 “온라인 의견수렴 창구를 마련해 시간·지역에 관계없이 누구나 자유롭게 의견을 제시할 수 있도록 하고 접수된 의견은 충분히 검토해 토론회 논의·정책 검토 과정에 충실히 반영하겠다”고 했다.
그러면서 “주거는 국민 삶과 가장 직결된 문제로 집값·전월세·대출·내 집 마련 부담·불안은 많은 국민이 일상서 체감하는 어려움"이라며 "이런 시장 상황을 무겁게 받아들이고 있으며 국민 주거 안정을 최우선에 두고 정책을 점검하고 있다”고 했다.
또 “그간 공급 확대·시장 안정 원칙 하에 정책을 추진해 왔다”며 “공급 계획은 차질 없이 추진하고 있고 최근 동탄·기흥·구리 등 토지거래허가구역 지정 등과 같이 일부 지역 과열 우려에 대해 필요한 시장 안정 조치를 병행하고 있다”고 했다.
이어 “보유세·거래세 등 세제 전반에 대해 연구용역 결과·해외 사례 등을 토대로 합리적 개선 방안을 검토 중"이라고 덧붙였다.
