<브레이크뉴스 평창 = 김일웅 기자> 평창군이 다가오는 여름 휴가철을 맞아 관광객들에게 파격적인 여행 경비 환급 혜택을 제공하는 '반값 여행' 두 번째 기회를 연다.
평창군은 지역 경제 활성화와 관광객 유치를 위한 ‘2026 지역사랑 휴가 지원사업(반값 여행)’ 2회차 사전 신청을 오는 22일 오전 10시부터 선착순으로 접수한다고 17일 밝혔다.
앞서 지난 4월 진행된 1회차 접수에서는 시작 1시간 만에 6,200여 명이 몰리며 조기 마감되는 등 폭발적인 호응을 얻은 바 있다.
이번 2회차 사업의 여행 가능 기간은 7월 1일부터 8월 31일까지다. 평창 및 인접 시군을 제외한 타 지역 거주 내국인이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있다. 지원 한도는 개인 최대 10만 원, 청년(19~34세) 14만 원, 단체 20만 원이며, 3~5인 가족 단위 관광객은 최대 50만 원까지 환급받을 수 있다.
군은 이번 사업과 연계해 7월 더위사냥축제, 8월 별별상상 평창로드마켓 등 다채로운 행사를 마련해 체류형 관광을 적극 유도할 방침이다.
