앞서 정부는 지난 4월 자원안보 위기 경보를 상향 발령하는 등 막바지 에너지 수요 관리에 총력을 기울이고 있다.
주택용 에너지캐시백은 가정에서 전기사용량을 줄이면 절감량에 따라 현금을 돌려주는 국민 참여형 인센티브 제도다. 이번 개편안의 핵심은 ‘참여 문턱 완화’와 ‘지급 단가 인상’이다.
기존에는 직전 2개년 동월 평균 대비 3% 이상 줄여야 했으나, 올 하반기부터는 1%만 줄여도 혜택을 받을 수 있다.
