이번 사업은 과학기술정보통신부와 정보통신산업진흥원(NIPA)이 주관하는 공모사업으로, 전주정보문화산업진흥원(JICA)과 한국정보통신기술협회(TTA)가 컨소시엄을 구성해 최종 선정됐다. 총사업비 19억 원이 투입되며, AI 기본법 시행과 글로벌 AI 규제 강화에 대응하기 위한 지역 기반 신뢰성 검·인증 지원체계 구축을 목표로 한다.
이날 착수보고회에서는 사업 추진계획, 지역기업 지원방안, AI 신뢰성 혁신 실증센터 구축계획, TTA 검·인증 연계지원, 전북 특화산업 기반 실증모델 발굴 및 전국 확산전략 등이 논의됐다.
