민형배 전남광주통합특별시 시장 당선인의 인수위원회인 ‘전남광주대전환기획위원회’(이하 대전환기획위원회)가 8일 오전 빛가람혁신도시에서 현판식을 갖고 공식 출범했다.
오는 7월 1일 출범하는 통합특별시의 초기 시정 운영 방향과 핵심 공약 실행계획을 마련하게 될 대전환기획위원회는 시민주권·산업경제·과학기술·도시공간·문화관광·보건복지 등 6개 전문위원회와 기획위원회를 포함해 총 7개 분과, 20명의 전문가로 구성됐다. 활동 기한은 오는 7월 20일까지다.
이날 출범식에서 민형배 당선인은 “한 번도 가보지 않은 길이기에 설레기도 하지만 320만 특별시민의 명령을 현실로 만들어야 한다는 무거운 책임감을 느낀다”며 “통합특별시 운영의 최우선 목표는 ‘성장’이고, 시정 운영 전 과정을 관통하는 핵심 원리는 ‘시민주권’”이라고 천명했다.
