【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시청자미디어센터와 칠곡군이 AI·디지털 생활문해교육 활성화를 위해 손을 잡고, 지역 맞춤형 평생학습 협력체계 구축에 나섰다.
양 기관은 지난 18일 칠곡군청에서 업무협약을 체결하고, 지역 주민들의 AI·디지털 생활문해 역량 강화를 함께 추진하기로 했다. 이번 협약은 변화하는 디지털 환경 속에서 주민들이 일상에서 필요한 AI와 미디어 활용 능력을 키울 수 있도록 지원하고, 지역 기반의 지속 가능한 평생학습 모델을 만들기 위해 마련됐다.
협약에 따라 두 기관은 ▲AI·디지털 생활문해교육 활성화 ▲교육 콘텐츠, 간행물, 연구자료 공유 ▲지역 특화 프로그램 공동 개발 ▲교육 공간과 시설 공동 이용 등 다양한 분야에서 협력할 계획이다. 특히 농촌 및 고령화 지역의 특성을 고려해, 고령층, 주부, 청년, 취업준비생 등 다양한 계층을 위한 맞춤형 실습 중심 교육 프로그램도 운영된다.
또 칠곡 지역의 공공도서관, 복지관, 미디어센터 등 인프라를 연계해 생활 밀착형 교육을 확대한다. 시범 운영을 거친 뒤에는 참여율, 학습 성과, 만족도 등을 분석해 우수 모델 확산에도 나설 예정이다.
왕현호 대구시청자미디어센터장은 “이번 협약을 통해 지역과의 협력 기반을 넓히고, 주민들이 실질적으로 미디어 활용 역량을 높일 수 있는 맞춤형 프로그램을 적극적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
칠곡군 관계자 역시 “디지털 전환 시대에 주민들이 소외되지 않도록 교육과 인프라 지원을 강화하고, 지역 특성에 맞는 디지털 문해교육 체계를 갖춰가겠다”고 강조했다.

The Daegu Citizens Media Center and Chilgok County have joined hands to promote AI and digital literacy education and are working to establish a regionally tailored lifelong learning cooperation system.
The two organizations signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the Chilgok County Office on the 18th and agreed to jointly promote the enhancement of AI and digital literacy capabilities among local residents. In particular, considering the characteristics of rural and aging regions, customized, practice-oriented educational programs will be operated for diverse demographics, including the elderly, housewives, youth, and job seekers.
Furthermore, they will expand life-oriented education by linking infrastructure in the Chilgok region, such as public libraries, welfare centers, and media centers. Following the pilot operation, plans are underway to analyze participation rates, learning outcomes, and satisfaction levels to expand successful models.
Wang Hyun-ho, Director of the Daegu Citizens Media Center, stated, "Through this agreement, we will broaden the foundation for cooperation with the local community and actively promote customized programs that can practically enhance residents' media literacy skills."
An official from Chilgok County also emphasized, "We will strengthen support for education and infrastructure to ensure residents are not marginalized in the era of digital transformation, and establish a digital literacy education system tailored to local characteristics."
