<브레이크뉴스 포천 = 이용하 기자> 포천문화관광재단이 본격적인 영농철을 맞아 인력난으로 고심하는 지역 농가를 위해 두 팔을 걷어붙였다.
21일 포천시에 따르면, 재단 임직원 27명은 지난 19일 포천시 영중면에 위치한 사과 재배 농가를 찾아 일손 돕기 봉사활동을 진행했다.
이날 이중효 대표이사를 비롯한 직원들은 고품질 사과 생산을 위한 필수 과정인 ‘사과 적과(열매 솎기)’ 작업에 구슬땀을 흘렸다. 사과 적과는 작업 시기가 한정되어 있어 단기간에 많은 인력이 필요한 만큼, 이번 봉사활동은 농가의 일손 부족 현상을 해소하는 데 큰 도움이 되었다. 직원들은 이 밖에도 농가 주변 환경 정비 활동을 함께 진행하며 일손을 보탰다.
