이번 워크숍은 도내 학생오케스트라 운영학교 담당 교사들의 전문성을 높이는 한편, 학교 현장의 우수 운영 사례를 공유해 지역 예술 교육의 질적 성장을 이끌어내기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 워크숍에서는 농어촌 소규모 학교의 한계를 극복하고 초·중등 연계 교육의 모범 답안을 제시한 고흥 동강초등학교와 동강중학교의 ‘연합 오케스트라’ 운영 사례가 소개돼 참석자들의 큰 호응을 얻었다. 이와 함께 실제 학교 현장에서 즉각 적용할 수 있는 구체적인 운영 방법과 학생 지도 사례들이 심도 있게 다뤄졌다.
이어 도교육청은 향후 개최될 ‘전남학교예술교육페스티벌’ 및 ‘학생예술동아리 축제’의 운영 방향을 안내하고, 전남 예술 교육이 나아가야 할 중장기적 마스터플랜을 공유했다.
특히 이번 워크숍에서는 학교 현장의 행정 부담을 줄이고 자원 활용도를 높이기 위한 실무 교육도 함께 진행됐다. 도교육청은 통합예약시스템을 활용한 체계적인 악기 보유 현황 조사 방법과 함께, ‘악기뱅크’의 효율적인 활용법 및 관리 시 유의 사항을 상세히 공유해 일선 학교의 악기 관리 효율성을 한층 높였다.
