[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 함양군이 지리산 천왕봉에서 산악 완등 인증사업 ‘오르GO 함양’ 현장 홍보활동을 펼치며 산악관광도시 알리기에 나섰다.
함양군은 지난 19일 군 관광진흥과 직원들이 지리산 천왕봉을 찾아 전국 등산객들을 대상으로 ‘오르GO 함양’ 참여 캠페인을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 홍보는 ‘최고봉 지리산 천왕봉을 올랐으니 오늘부터 오르GO 함양을 시작해보자’를 주제로 진행됐다.
직원들은 등산객들에게 전용 애플리케이션 설치 방법과 참여 절차, 인증 방식 등을 안내하며 함양 지역 명산 완등 프로그램 참여를 유도했다.
현장에서는 즉석에서 앱을 설치하거나 함양 지역 산행 코스를 문의하는 등 등산객들의 관심도 이어졌다고 군은 설명했다.
함양군은 이번 홍보를 통해 함양이 지리산과 덕유산을 품은 대표 산악관광 거점이라는 점을 전국 산행객들에게 직접 알리는 계기가 됐다고 평가했다.
‘오르GO 함양’은 해발 1,000m 이상 함양지역 15개 명산 완등 인증 프로그램으로, 전용 앱을 통해 참여할 수 있다. 군은 산행과 관광, 지역 소비를 연계한 체류형 관광 콘텐츠로 육성하고 있다.
군 관계자는 “지리산 방문객들이 함양의 다양한 명산으로 관광 동선을 확대하는 계기가 되길 기대한다”며 “현장 중심 홍보와 참여 이벤트를 확대해 산악관광 활성화에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
