[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 양산시가 시 승격 30주년과 제31회 환경의 날을 맞아 시민 참여형 환경 축제를 연다.
양산시는 오는 6월 5일 시청 문화예술회관 소공연장과 광장에서 ‘녹색숨결도시 양산’을 주제로 환경의 날 기념행사를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 시민 체험 중심 프로그램을 통해 환경 실천 문화를 확산하고 탄소중립 인식을 높이기 위해 마련됐다.
기념식은 오후 2시부터 진행되며 환경보전 유공자 표창과 함께 기후 행동 메시지를 담은 시민 참여형 반딧불이 퍼포먼스가 열린다.
특히 우주에서 바라본 지구 환경을 주제로 활동하는 과학크리에이터 ‘항성’ 초청 특강이 마련된다. 특강은 선착순 140명을 대상으로 사전 신청을 받아 운영된다.
행사장 광장에서는 오전 10시부터 환경 체험부스도 운영된다. 시민 참여형 ‘지문트리 꾸미기’, 자전거 발전 체험 프로그램인 ‘시민페달로 밝히는 지구’ 등 탄소중립 실천형 콘텐츠가 진행될 예정이다.
또 개인 텀블러를 가져오는 시민에게 무료 음료를 제공하는 친환경 이벤트도 함께 열린다.
양산시는 이번 행사를 통해 시민 참여형 환경문화 확산과 함께 녹색도시 비전을 공유한다는 계획이다.
김경아 기후환경과장은 “환경 실천을 시민들이 직접 체험하고 공감하는 행사로 준비했다”며 “생활 속 환경보호 실천 문화가 확산하는 계기가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
