<브레이크뉴스 원주 = 김일웅 기자> 원주시가 지역 청소년들의 꿈과 끼를 응원하기 위해 오는 30일부터 31일까지 이틀간 댄싱공연장 및 젊음의광장 일원에서 제24회 원주청소년축제 ‘꽃이 피다’를 개최한다.
올해 축제는 ‘드림 하이(Dream High) – 꿈을 마음껏 펼쳐라’라는 부제 아래, 청소년들이 직접 무대의 주인공이 되어 관객들과 어우러지는 다양한 공연과 체험 프로그램으로 꾸며진다.
공연마당에서는 청소년들의 개성과 에너지가 돋보이는 시크릿싱어, 응원제, 밴드 가요제, 댄스제가 연이어 열리며 축제의 열기를 더할 예정이다.
또한, 전시마당에서는 청소년 유해환경을 주제로 한 ‘드림 배리어(Dream Barrier)’를 비롯해 다양한 청소년 동아리 및 관계기관 부스가 운영된다. 놀이마당에는 스트레스를 날릴 수 있는 ‘드림 런(Dream Run)’ 등 시민과 청소년 누구나 자유롭게 참여 가능한 체험형 프로그램이 마련된다.
이 밖에도 축제 기간 내내 다채로운 이벤트와 포토존, 스탬프 투어 등이 운영되어 방문객들에게 풍성한 즐길 거리를 제공할 계획이다.
원주시 관계자는 “청소년이 주인공이 되어 직접 만들고 참여하는 축제로 세심하게 준비했다”며, “많은 시민과 청소년들이 함께 어울리며 특별한 추억을 만들어 가길 바란다”고 전했다.
