자연의 깊은 호흡을 화폭에 담아 관람객들에게 따뜻한 위로를 전하는 특별한 미술 전시회가 대전에서 막을 올렸다.
한국조폐공사는 대전 유성구에 위치한 화폐박물관 특별전시실에서 19일부터 오는 31일까지 서양화가 한미의 개인전 ‘그리움 그리다 : 파도가 일다’ 전을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 전시는 차분하고 안정된 색채와 구도를 바탕으로 ‘초록’이라는 단일한 색조 안에서 펼쳐지는 섬세한 색채 감각과 조형미를 집중적으로 선보인다.
작가는 숲과 나무 등 자연의 풍경 속에서 발견한 다양한 색의 흐름과 감정을 화면에 조화롭게 담아내며 깊은 울림을 선사한다.
특히 단순히 푸른 풍경으로 보이는 자연 속에서도 수많은 색채가 충돌하고 조화를 이루는 과정을 밀도 있게 표현했으며, 유행적인 기교에 치우치기보다 자연의 호흡을 묵묵히 따라가는 수행적 태도를 보여주는 것이 이번 전시의 가장 큰 특징이다.
현재 한국미술협회 미술교육위원회 이사로 재직 중인 한미 작가는 국내외 유수의 공모전에서 독창적인 작품성을 인정받으며 지역 미술계에서 활발한 행보를 이어가고 있다.
그녀는 ‘그리움 그리다’라는 일관된 대주제 아래 다섯 번째 개인전을 개최하며 자신만의 독창적인 서정적 작품 세계를 견고히 구축해 왔다.
