브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넥슨은 네이버와 손잡고 ‘네이버 로그인 회원’ 전환 이벤트와, 네이버의 라이브 스트리밍 플랫폼 치지직 기반의 ‘N커넥트(N-CONNECT)’ 프로젝트를 선보인다고 18일 밝혔다.
이번 협업의 핵심은 이용자 계정의 구조적 연결이다. ‘네이버 로그인 회원’은 네이버 ID를 사용해 넥슨 게임 로그인과 네이버페이(Npay) 결제를 동시에 이용할 수 있는 서비스다. 만 14세 이상 본인인증을 마친 넥슨 이용자라면 기존 게임 플레이 기록을 그대로 유지한 채 네이버 ID로 쉽게 계정을 전환할 수 있다.
계정 전환이 완료되면 넥슨 내 모든 결제 서비스는 네이버페이를 통해 이뤄지게 된다. 국내 최대 포털인 네이버의 접근성과 간편결제 편의성을 넥슨 플랫폼에 이식해 이용자 이탈을 막고 락인(Lock-in) 효과를 극대화하겠다는 취지로 풀이된다.
