[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시가 지난 4월 도로 침하가 발생했던 내성지하차도 인근 구간에 대해 선제적인 긴급 정비공사를 시행하고 도로 평탄성을 확보했다.
시는 17일 오전부터 차량 통제를 시행하며 포장 정비공사를 마무리했으며, 당일 저녁 양방향 통행을 전면 재개했다.
평탄성 저해 구간 730㎡ 대상 긴급 정비… 당일 양방향 전면 개통
시는 이날 내성지하차도 인근의 도로 평탄성 저해 구간 730㎡(60m×2차로, 2곳)를 대상으로 긴급 노면 정비 공사를 시행했다고 밝혔다. 이번 공사는 중앙대로 일대의 주행 환경을 개선하고 시민 불편을 선제적으로 해소하기 위해 추진됐다.
시는 시민 불편 신고를 접수한 후 17일 오전 9시 18분부터 즉각적인 도로 통제에 들어갔다. 이어 오후 12시 30분부터 본격적인 포장면 정비 공사에 착수해, 신속한 작업 끝에 오후 5시 명륜동 방향의 통행을 우선 재개했다. 이어 오후 7시를 기해 교대 방향의 차량 부분 통제까지 모두 해제하면서 양방향 전 구간의 통행이 정상을 되찾았다.
우기 전 선제적 조치 완료… 지속적인 모니터링으로 안전 관리 강화
이번에 정비를 마친 구간은 지난 4월 5일 잔류 침하 현상이 발생해 굴착 확인과 노면 정비를 한차례 진행했던 지역이다.
이후 4월 8일 국토교통부(국토안전관리원)와의 합동 점검을 통해 지하 공동 등 특별한 이상 징후는 발견되지 않았으나, 시는 잔류 침하 가능성에 대비해 해당 구간을 지속적으로 모니터링하며 관리해 왔다.
시는 당초 본격적인 우기(장마)가 시작되기 전에 해당 구간을 정비할 계획이었으나, 주행성 저하로 인한 시민들의 교통 불편을 빠르게 해결하기 위해 휴일인 17일 평탄성 확보 공사를 전격 실시했다. 부산시는 앞으로도 이 일대에 대한 지속적인 모니터링과 철저한 현장 관리를 통해 시민들의 도로 이용 불편을 최소화하고 안전사고를 예방하는 데 만전을 기할 방침이다.

The city implemented traffic control starting on the morning of the 17th to complete the pavement repair work and fully reopened traffic in both directions that evening.
Urgent Repairs on 730㎡ of Uneven Road Sections… Full Bilateral Reopening on the Same Day
The city announced that it carried out urgent road surface repair works on 730㎡ (60m × 2 lanes, 2 locations) of uneven road sections near the Naeseong Underpass. This construction was pursued as a preemptive measure to improve the driving environment along Jungang-daero and swiftly resolve citizen inconveniences.
Upon receiving reports of public discomfort, the city immediately initiated traffic control at 9:18 AM on the 17th. Following this, full-scale pavement repair works began at 12:30 PM. Thanks to the rapid operations, traffic heading toward Myeongnyun-dong was resumed first at 5:00 PM. By 7:00 PM, partial vehicle restrictions toward Gyodae were completely lifted, returning traffic across all lanes in both directions to normal.
Preemptive Measures Completed Before Rainy Season… Strengthening Safety Management with Continuous Monitoring
The newly repaired section is the same area where residual subsidence occurred on April 5, which previously underwent excavation inspections and surface leveling.
Although a joint inspection with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (National Authority for Land Safety Management) on April 8 revealed no specific abnormalities such as underground cavities, the city has continuously monitored and managed the section in preparation for potential residual subsidence.
While the city originally planned to repair the section before the start of the monsoon season, it decided to carry out the flatness restoration work on Sunday the 17th to quickly address traffic disruptions caused by reduced drivability. Busan Metropolitan City plans to make every effort to prevent safety accidents and minimize inconvenience for commuters by maintaining continuous monitoring and strict on-site management in the area moving forward.
