브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= DL이앤씨는 서울 마포구 노을공원에서 도심 녹지 회복과 생물다양성 확대를 위한 생태 복원 봉사활동인 ‘DL 숲을 짓다’를 진행했다고 18일 밝혔다.
이번 활동에는 DL이앤씨와 DL건설 임직원 및 가족들이 대거 참여해 숲 조성과 생태 환경 개선에 힘을 보탰다.
‘DL 숲을 짓다’는 일회성 기부나 봉사에 그치지 않고, 임직원이 직접 환경 보호의 전 과정에 참여하는 DL이앤씨의 대표적인 친환경 사회공헌 프로그램이다.
2024년 노을공원시민모임과 손을 잡고 첫 발을 내디딘 이후 올해로 3년째를 맞이했다. DL이앤씨는 이번 활동을 포함해 지금까지 임직원들이 직접 기른 누적 300그루 이상의 참나무 묘목을 노을공원에 식재하며 지속 가능한 도심 숲 조성에 기여해왔다.
올해 활동은 임직원들이 가정과 사무실에서 직접 도토리 씨앗을 받아 묘목으로 키워내는 ‘집씨통 키우기’ 프로그램과 연계했다.
이날 노을공원을 찾은 참가자들은 자신들이 정성껏 키워온 참나무 묘목을 직접 땅에 심었으며, 주변의 생태교란식물을 제거하는 등 숲의 건강한 자생을 돕는 환경 정화 활동도 함께 전개했다.
DL이앤씨 관계자는 “DL 숲을 짓다는 임직원들이 생태 복원 과정에 직접 참여하며 환경의 가치를 자연스럽게 체감할 수 있도록 기획된 활동”이라며 “앞으로도 임직원과 가족이 함께 참여할 수 있는 다양한 ESG 활동을 통해 지속가능한 생태 환경 조성에 기여해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
