오전 7시~오후 11시 길거리 연설 허용…확성기·소음 규제는 오후 9시 빗장
유권자, SNS·문자 지지 호상시 가능…‘딥페이크 영상·가짜뉴스 공유’는 엄벌
내달 3일 실시되는 제9회 전국동시지방선거와 국회의원 보궐선거(충남 아산시을, 공주시·부여군·청양군 복합선거구)의 향배를 가를 13일간의 공식 선거운동 시계가 마침내 돌기 시작한다.
대전·충남 선거관리위원회에 따르면 오는 5월 21일부터 선거 전날인 6월 2일 자정까지 후보자와 유권자 모두 공직선거법의 테두리 안에서 저마다의 방식으로 세 몰이에 나설 수 있는 합법적 레이스가 펼쳐진다.
선거 정국이 본격화됨에 따라 후보자들에게는 유권자의 표심을 파고들 다양한 홍보 수단이 허용된다. 각 시군 선관위는 후보자들의 정책이 담긴 선거벽보를 이달 22일까지 관내 지정 장소에 부착하며, 세부 공약이 수록된 선거공보는 24일까지 가구별로 신속히 발송해 배달을 완료할 계획이다.
후보자와 배우자, 직계존비속을 비롯해 정식 등록된 선거사무원들은 명함 배부와 함께 어깨띠, 표찰, 윗옷 등 소품을 활용한 유세가 가능하다. 비례대표를 제외한 지역구 후보자들은 읍·면·동 수의 2배 이내에서 거리에 현수막을 내걸고 기호와 슬로건을 노출할 수 있다.
