학생들이 단순한 지식 수용자에서 벗어나 배움의 주체로 우뚝 설 수 있도록 충남 교육계가 교실 수업의 패러다임 전환에 박차를 가하고 있다.
충청남도교육청은 18일 공주시에 소재한 충청남도교육청교육연수원에서 관내 초등 수업실연 이끎교사 45명을 대상으로 전문성 신장을 위한 역량 강화 배움자리를 전격 운영했다고 밝혔다.
이번 배움자리는 이끎교사들의 실천적 교수 역량을 고도화하는 동시에, 학생들의 자율성과 주도성을 유기적으로 끌어올리는 ‘질문과 토론이 있는 학교 문화’를 충남 전역으로 확산시키고자 기획되었다.
특히 현장에서 즉각적으로 적용할 수 있는 실질적인 수업 혁신 메커니즘을 도출하기 위해 다채로운 세션이 밀도 있게 전개되었다.
주요 프로그램으로는 질문 중심 수업의 구체적인 실제 사례를 분석하는 워크숍과 교사 간 유기적인 소통을 통해 전문성을 나침반 삼아 신장하는 토론의 장이 마련되어 참석자들의 심도 있는 공감을 자아냈다.
‘초등 수업실연 이끎교사’는 뛰어난 수업 전문성을 보유한 교원을 선제적으로 발굴하여 현장 밀착형 수업 나눔을 실천하도록 돕는 충남교육청의 핵심 특색 사업이다.
