국민의힘 광주시당은 14일 시당 회의실에서 중소기업중앙회 광주전남지역본부와 함께 ‘전남광주 지방선거 정책과제 전달식 및 정책간담회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 이날 행사에는 이정현 후보를 비롯해 임경준 중기중앙회 광주전남회장, 국민의힘 광주 지역 당협위원장 등 관계자 20여 명이 참석했다.
이번 전달식은 지역 경제의 뿌리인 중소기업과 소상공인들이 발굴한 정책 과제를 이 후보에게 전달하고, 실질적인 활성화 방안을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.
간담회에서 중기중앙회 측은 "소상공인은 밤늦게까지 상가 불을 밝히며 지역 시민들에게 안도감을 주는 '동네의 등불'이자 치안 도우미 역할을 하고 있다"며 "지역 경제 활성화를 위해 소상공인과 중소기업이 겪는 애로사항 해결에 힘써달라"고 요청했다.
